Hello Again
It’s time for a reintroduction.
Whether you’re brand new to my world, or you’ve been here for a while, I want to share a bit about myself:
My name is Sarah Trudeau.
Some people love me, some people hate me. I don’t take it personally anymore. I beam a strong signal that attracts and repels. This is the mechanism of my authenticity.
I am a student of the Great Mystery.
As a child, I opened the pages of my father’s Seth books and read the words ‘You Create Your Own Reality.’ An internal signal was activated, and I have followed it ever since.
I am the architect of my life.
I am the creator of my reality.
YOU are the creator of yours.
Growing up, I ate cereal in the splits and watched cartoons standing on my head. I guess it’s not surprising that I became a yoga teacher.
When I was twenty-four, an epiphany exploded through my body. Standing on a beach in Thailand, I received a vision of my future self as a fully expressed writer. From that point forward, I took consistent steps to become that woman. Today, I am an author, writing coach, and mentor. I followed that solar plexus signal all the way to my destiny.
Later, I discovered vipassana meditation. For years, I meditated with Buddhist monks and nuns in ancient monasteries across the East.
I have astral traveled, dreamt prophetically, and spoken with the spirits of the dead. All of these gifts opened when I began to meditate.
I’ve taught yoga in studios, schools, luxury apartments, and prisons. I have taught blind women, Parkinson’s patients, expecting mothers and juveniles with knife wounds across their abdomens. No one is exempt from learning yoga. If you want to learn, I will teach you.
I’m politically homeless. I see distortion and truth on both sides of the aisle. I follow the river of truth in my body instead of dividing along party lines.
I’ve been canceled for expressing my opinions online.
I do not believe that a man can be a woman.
I’m not a good girl anymore.
I cultivate my sexual energy with devotion and reverence. It is more precious than gold. It is not available for consumption. It is God-force.
The woman I am today is the culmination of decades of study and practice. My lineage is a colorful braiding of Theravada Buddhism, Tantric Shaivism, and devotion to the Feminine.
I’m 47. At a certain point in one’s journey (now), denying your gifts is no longer ‘humble.’ It is an avoidance of responsibility.
So let me claim my gifts:
I am a writer. I have a gift for translating energy into words. When you read my writing, you feel it in your body.
I am brave. My courage has carved my path through life. My willingness to tell the truth has cost me friends and opportunities, but gifted me authenticity.
I hold and channel emotions skillfully. Rage and grief don’t scare me. I know how to move them through my body. I can show you how to do it, too.
I am raising incredible children. They are the most emotionally literate kids I know.
I can sit in the center of your storm and not budge. My breath will stay full and my ass will stay grounded. I don’t dissociate, I become more present. I’ve trained in this for decades. I am the eye of the storm.
I was made to teach movement. I can articulate energetic patterns and physical structures in such a way that YOU discover you can move, too!
I take people through a whole journey in an hourlong yoga class. People tell me it feels like church 🙌
I make a mean playlist 😉
People come to me for grounding and centering. I help you find your way home. I am a natural lighthouse.
I understand how creation works. I can show you why things aren’t working in your life, and get you pointed in the right direction.
I am devoted to the Feminine, but I work with Masculine energy, too. While it is taboo to admit this in some feminine circles, I do so, proudly. Working with the mind is one of my gifts. I have trained extensively in meditation, which allows me to guide and support my mind. I teach others to do the same.
I work with sexual energy in a reverential way that is unusual in our world. I take it out of the closet, but don’t exploit it. I tend it, cultivate it, and channel it with discernment. This gives flavor and color to my creations.
What about you? Why are you here? What brought you to my world?
If you found yourself nodding as you read this, you are probably one of my people. Reach out and say hello. My work is expanding, and I know there are readers who’d like to step in. If that’s you, let me know. I can only serve you if I can see you.
